No Squishies Here.....

Baby K's Mama contacted me to do some newborn photographs of her sweet baby girl. She really wanted to Kapture the squishy newborn stage, but since Little Miss K is approaching 2 1/2 months she didn't want anything to do with being squished & asleep!!
We 1st met at the park & got some fun shots of Baby K with her Mama & Daddy, then we attempted the newborn photos!!
We tried.....oh how we tried.....we sang, okay I'm exaggerating Stevie Wonder sang, but we sssssssssshed & rocked & waited & she slept, right until Mama broke contact, then, wide awake!!!!
We didn't get the squishiness, but my oh my we got the adorable sweetness!!!!
She was such a little angel baby, it was cold, we shot for hours, she was tired, but she just smiled away......

Mom & Dad & I all agreed he looks like an angel here...

Big Brother didn't want to much to do with his baby brother, he's just a little guy & not quite sure about what's going on :) We did convince him to come give baby brother a some love & to our surprise...he did :)

Beautiful Princess

I am here to post the sneaker peeker of Sweet Little, NO I am NOT tired, Baby M.
This is my wonderful friends beautiful niece.
She wanted NOTHING to do with sleeping, so we snuck a few in while she was awake.
So for you Mama, your beautiful AWAKE baby girl.
We made her mad...
We made her tired, but not tired enough to sleep, just tired enough to rest her eyes for 2 seconds...
We crowned her a princess..
Which I think happens to be my Kapture that I Heart for the day...
Her sweet little fingers, toes & nose for Mama, because she really wanted it!

Little Baby T's beautiful Big Sissy...
I love.love.love this picture.
She is such a little doll :)
She likes to sleep in so she wasn't too happy about being woke up to take pictures, but she soon warmed up & posed for the camera.
What an amazing Big Sissy she already is, at just 2 she isn't jealous at all of her Baby Brother she is actually a protective little nurturer with him.

Big sister sat in the chair & loved, hugged & kissed on sweet baby boy.

Newborn Love.....

I am so so excited about my last photo shoot!!
My friend's sister just had her baby boy a couple of week's ago & I got the honor to shoot him & his darling big sister's pictures.
He was so so very wonderful!
I have not had the most cooperative little newborns, so I went into it prepared to be there for the day, working my tail off to get the shots, but oh no little Baby T proved me wrong!!
He.was.an.angel....
He slept.He posed. And He slept. And I snapped and snapped and snapped away.
I am still working on the pictures but I had to give Mommy & Daddy a sneak peek.
How do I ever choose?

Friend's Beauty Part 2

Here are the last of my favorite's from little Baby N's shoot.
He wasn't enjoying sleeping much, so I went back the following weekend hoping to get him into a deep slumber, but nope didn't happen!
We still ended up with some really cute shots even with him disagreeing with us.

So, here I am, I am back. For now anyways, I swear I need more hours in my day!!
Here is the storyboard I did for my friend's sweet little baby boy!!

For My Friend............

This one is for my dear friend Snoozie,
remember the absolutely gorgeous pregnant girl I took photos off a few months ago???
Well, her little bean is here!!!!!!!!!!!
He arrived a little early due to a leak in his home :(
Upon his early, unexpected arrival he gave his Mama & Daddy quite a scare with NICU time!!
He was 37 weeks, but his little lungs just didn't want to work quite yet, so after a long week and a half in the NICU, he was finally released to go home!!
They are the most amazing parents & were so strong through it all!
Baby N is so very lucky to be blessed with such a wonderful family!
Congratulations Friends!!
We are so excited for you & so so happy Baby N is home healthy & happy!!!!!!!!
So, enough mush...
I promised Mama a sneak peek, she certainly deserves it!

It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This

Could I be any more lucky?!
Have I said before that I absolutely LOVE taking pictures & I absolutely love NEWBORNS, so I was in heaven the day I photographed this little one.
He was so alert & awake & had amazing coordination for his age, it is their 1st & I think he cooked for an extra month or 2 because he is already so advanced!
Mama is a tiny little thing & this little 1 was 9lbs 3oz, I know right??
You go girl!!

Baby Sister

So, as promised here are more pictures of the adorable, snugly, beautiful little Baby R. She was so fun to photograph!!
She is the baby to 4 older brothers & sister so everyone in the house just adores this little sweet. Her older brother who is 6 couldn't quite figure out what we were doing to his baby sister. His Mama kept telling him to be quiet because we wanted her sleeping, well when she would fall asleep I would move & tuck & change & reposition her, finally he walks over, & whispers in my ear that she would be able to sleep if I would quit moving her!!
It was too funny!! I agree she would sleep better uninterrupted, but then we would not have got these wonderful pictures..........

2 Words For You.....

Baby Hungry.
This sweet sweet little 2 week old baby girl stole my heart & left me wanting another baby girl, bad!
I know I am selfish, I just can't help it I love love love newborns.
This is the perfect job for me, at least if I can't keep having my own I can snuggle, swaddle & hold babies when I am taking their picture.
I think I love this job.

Baby Sweetness

My wonderful friend Kristie had her 1st baby boy a of couple months ago,so I helped Lesley with the newborn shoot!!
It was so much fun! He is such a sweet snuggly little guy! I love love love newborns!!!! The smell... the tucked little butt...the little coo...I love every moment!!!
