Sorry~ it's been awhile :)
I've been taking the pictures, I just can't keep up with them here.
On my Christmas List this year~ More hours in a day!!

He happens to be one of the sweetest little boys I know...

2 words for this little 1, Tom Boy.
She wanted nothing to do with me, my camera, her hair curled, or that dress.
What a little beauty we ended up Kapturing, against her will.

We affectionately call her George......
because she likes to cut her own hair off like a boy :)
We rescheduled this shoot 2 or 3 times due to George getting a hold of the scissors!!
She is all her Daddy, T.R.O.U.B.L.E. but she's so stinkin cute she makes up for it!

This little 1 knows how to melt my heart, she calls me Tristy, & with her little voice she can pretty much get whatever she wants outta me.
Her favorite line, "Tristy, I wanna play wit Tarter" (Carter who is my baby).

Well, as you all know I have a wonderful sister who also happens to be an amazing photographer, not to mention a great teacher, because I have learned so very very much from her.
Lesley has had a camera wrapped around her neck for as long as I can remember, she started Lesley Barr Photography a couple of years ago, now she's always booked & I have to beg a plead with her to sneak my little family in for a photo shoot :)
Lucky for me I had something she wanted, since her family has NEVER had their family pictures taken a trade was needed. So needless to say this swap was LONG overdue for her family!!!
We decided to take each others pictures, but due to time constraints we both edited our own favorites.
So, swap we did, she took all of these amazing photos of me & my little family at Calico Basin...

So, in turn I took these family photos of her, her hubby & their INSANELY adorable twin 3 year olds. The little twinzers weren't really in the mood to have their pictures taken, but we ended up convincing them to pose for just a few.
It was a lot of fun to capture something different than I have ever done before, her photos are urban, bright & funky & I had some fun editing these!!
Side Note, we were in the GHETTO & it was a little frightening, totally worth it for these great shots, but if I ever have a shoot there again I WILL BE PACKING :) Or maybe I will just bring along a body guard.

The Whole Gang.....

The day we did my wonderful friends photo shoot we also did a shoot with her hubbies ENTIRE family, there were 19 of them, with 1 that couldn't make it.
So, as you know large groups make me very very nervous! However, after everyone arrived I quickly relaxed, because you see, I think they might be crazier than my family, & we are a little nuts.
We laughed & goofed off & tackled, OK they tackled I took pictures, before I knew it the nerves were gone & the photo shoot ended up being a blast!!
So, thank you Mama Y for letting me photography your beautiful family!!
There are 7 kids in total, 5 boys & 2 girls, then we have some married & some with families :)

My Bestie.....

So, one of my Bestie friends asked me to do her family pictures & I was too excited!!
She has a BEAUTIFUL family, & I just adore her munchkins!!

When we met Brad & I had just got married, we had no kids, her hubby & my hubby go way back to causing trouble together in High School, so when they decided to move out to Pahrump we were thrilled!!
Her munchkins were 5,3 & 1, and I wanted them!! She wouldn't give them up so we had to have some of our own. We tried to play catch up & had our 1st two, I don't know that I would have survived Motherhood & this town without her :)
She was my babysitter, the girl I called mid panic attack when we were surprised with our 3rd, the saint that would take my kids when I would get put on bed rest & sprain my ankle!! We loved having our wonderful friends right around the corner.
Now we are not so lucky to have them so close, but she is still the greatest friend ever, since then she has added on her 4th & he is a honey, you might remember his newborn pictures here, unfortunately she won't give me him either!!
Enough mush, her is My Bestie & her Beautiful Family...

Too Big...Too Fast

Get ready for picture overload!!!!
I am just now getting the rest of Little Miss A's photo shoot, things are busy as always betwwen munchkins, school, soccer, house, hubby, online photography class, & of course shooting pictures.
So now to the important stuff, my sweet little girl's 6 year shoot.....

I am having a hard time choosing between this photo posted earlier & this photo for my favorite Kapture of the day!!!

Advice?

When My Little Carter Bug was a newborn baby my sister made me a storyboard of all his many faces, & I love love love it.
I want to fill all 3~16x16 frames I have on my bedroom wall each with a faces storyboard of my munchkins, so here's Alexee's.

Advice, it is going in my room, on a tan wall with a cherry frame & a green matte, what color would you choose, should I keep the pink & do Braiden's in blue & bring some color to my room, or should I choose something more natural?
My room is tans, browns & greens? Whatdoyouthink???

So, I have to warn you, you are probably going to see A LOT of this little red head over the next week.
I am so so happy with all of her pictures, I am currently editing & can't seem to choose, so I have oodles to edit still, but in the mean time I just thought I'd get some opinions on this one......
I used to be a Sepia lover, until my sister converted me to a Love of Color with her amazing color photos, but Wow this black & White is really speaking to me....
